The President of Georgia personally congratulated the students admitted to the universities of Georgia. Mikheil Saakashvili met with 150 distinguished students, who have achieved the highest scores on the national exams. The Head of State spoke to them about the ongoing and planned projects in the education sphere. According to the President, the fact that the youth can compete for university admittance in a corruption-free environment is the greatest achievement of the government of Georgia.

“Fairness is the first criterion leading to a better life. Every young talented person will find success in a just and fair environment, we will definitely create production, build new universities, create not only public institutions, but a new system in terms of economy and agriculture. Life will become better in the conditions of fairness in cities and villages. This education reform is the greatest achievement that my friends, team members, and I take pride in. The most important thing now is not to let anyone return Georgia to the past. Nobody will be able to achieve this.” – noted Mikheil Saakashvili.

The Head of State spoke to them about success of the education reforms and touched on the projects that are going to be implemented in the future. As he stated, a lot of prospective students have chosen technical professions, including military aviation and military engineering, which is one of the main basis of developing the country. The President wished the students further success and called on them to get involved in the development of the country.
