We are used to hosting many Heads of State, Prime Ministers and other famous persons, including businessmen, sportsmen, and cultural representatives. However, the person who arrived in Georgia today is a special guest in every way.

He is more popular than a majority of Presidents and he is a lot more interesting than the majority of people I have ever met.

This is a person, who is constantly accompanied by success and has an incredible ability to sense where he can achieve it.

The fact that he is visiting Georgia is a true sign that our country is on the right track. This is more important than a report of any organization, and more important than a study of any political scientist or analytical center.

This is a true sign for me that despite the problems, poverty, and many other issues that we still have to overcome, Georgia is on the right track for success.

This is the only country in continental Europe, if we don’t count our neighboring 80 million Turkey, where Donald Trump is developing a residential center and a hotel with his partners.

The presence of Donald Trump in Georgia is an irreversible documentation of Georgia’s success.

I think Donald Trump has a very interesting biography.

I was studying in New York at the beginning of the 90s when Trump was a relatively new star.

I am a witness of his rise and also the fact that he lost everything by taking a risk.

In his situation many people would give up and leave the game, but Donald Trump did not stop for one day and he gained back everything and more that he had lost through hard work. 

This is why he is definitely an example for me of what success and excellence means. We have one of the highest state decorations, the Presidential Order of Excellence, which we rarely give out.

I think Donald Trump is truly a special example of success and excellence around the world.

It is a great honor for me to present him with this Order.

I welcome him with pleasure here, in Georgia.

The Georgian people are glad to see Donald Trump visit our country and the entire world is watching this.

Mr. President, I want to thank you very much. You have had everything to do with us coming to Georgia. You started about 4 years ago when you called and said: “You have done a good job all over the world and we want you to come to Georgia. Then you called again when you were at the United Nations and again… he doesn’t stop. And ultimately, Michael Cohen and my great partner…. by the way we have 2 great partners. They are going to do a fantastic job. Watch these guys, they are good guys and they love Georgia and they respect you, but ultimately it is about respect and the respect I have for you. And then I started reading up on Georgia, seeing what’s happening and I see it’s one of the safest places in the world.
