The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili met the school children at the summer school organized by the Constitutional Court of Georgia. The President spoke with them about the ongoing political and legal reforms in Georgia. Children asked Mikheil Saakashvili questions about legal issues that were interesting for them.

“Georgia’s advantage today is educated and high professional cadre. If or country would have educated people we will have guaranteed place among top ten countries around the world in reliable business atmosphere and in providing irreversible reforms. When I speak about Singapore I man exactly this. Singapore used to have worse live conditions than Tanzania. But from absolute poverty if became the most developed country around the world. Besides the fact that they did economic liberalization – the most important what they did was declaring the sphere of education as the highest priority. If we will not be able to do this – we will never achieve anything. Education is the most important part of modernization. We must be the patriots of our country” stated the President during the meeting. After meeting the President the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Georgia George Papuashvili awarded children with certificates and gifts. About thirty students of Georgia’s universities studied at summer school – “Constitional and Human Rights”. The course of studies lasted two weeks.
