President Saakashvili on special operation at Sarpi customs

The full shift of the Sarpi customs checkpoint officers at the Georgia-Turkey border was arrested today following a special operation by the officers of Constitutional Security Department. The customs officers were accused of taking a large amount of bribe.
Commenting on fight against corruption President Mihkeil Saakashvili advised all the government officials to perform properly, not to find themselves in the prison cells. "Corruption will no longer exist in Georgia. Today one of the best working conditions, including salaries are in the public sector, while the prisons have one of the worst. Do not let yourselves be moved from your well repaired offices to the prison cells," the President said.
