Today President Mikheil Saakashvili visited one of the branches of the People's Bank, which is responsible for distribute pensions, and expressed his concern over long lines of pensioners. President Saakashvili ordered the Minister of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia Lado Chipashvili and the bank's authority to improve the situation in one month and find an alternative way of giving pensions. 
"The pensioners should not have to wait in long lines just because the bank does not want to lose profit. People should no longer be neglected. Come to your senses! If the bank does not address this problem on time it will be deprived of the right to distribute pensions," President Saakashvili said.
