President Mikheil Saakashvili met with the presidential scholars today at the State Chancellery, expressed his satisfaction with an objective competition, held for the purpose to select and finance youth to study abroad, adding that this year, for the first time in the Georgia's history money has been allocated to educate the best young people abroad.

According to President Saakashvili the main aim of the government is not to oppress educated people and to properly exploit human resources. "There comes the time when a person is able to reach a success by his own labor. I'm sure you are the future governors of this country," President Saakashvili said.
