The Head of State wished the new candidate for Minister good luck and noted that Andria Urushadze will continue working as the Vice Mayor of Tbilisi. According to him, this decision was also made due to the fact that it is necessary for the capital to improve the social sphere and implement the program of new hospitals. The President stated that Andria Urushadze has implemented reasonably successful reforms in the Healthcare sphere and the new Minister should continue his course. Mikheil Saakashvili noted that the main challenge for Zurab Chiaberashvili will be providing accessibility of healthcare and developing the medical sector.

“Aside from the fact that Zurab was a mayor of Tbilisi in the past, he was also a successful ambassador of Georgia in Strasbourg.
