President Mikheil Saakashvili visited Kakheti region today and attended an opening ceremony of Kosta Ketagurov's monument, a famous Ossetian writer, in village Alleshperon, Lagodekhi district. 
Before opening the monument, President Saakashvili and Petre Tsiskarishvili, governor of Kakheti region, visited a vineyard and picked grapes with the peasants. "Today I have an honor to pick the last grapes. Sale of grapes has doubled this year in comparison to the year of 2003," President Saakashvili said.
