President Mikheil Saakashvili on October 26 with the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Alexander Lomaia, and the governor of Mtskheta Mtianeti region, Vasil Maghlaperidze, visited Shatili, Mtskheta Mtianeti region, and opened a new boarding school and a newly repaired building of a district council. 
The boarding school, where 14 schoolchildren study, has been built by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia with the support of a non-governmental organization and a German initiative group. 

President Saakashvili wished the school children a happy return to school.
