On January 14, at the State Chancellery, President Mikheil Saakashvili with the Prime Minister Zurab Noghaideli and the Minister of Labor, Health and Social Affairs Lado Chipashvili discussed preventive measures taken against bird flu in Georgia. 
According to President Saakashvili special emergency offices, which have all medical equipments and special overalls, are established and mobilized in most of the regions of Georgia.

President Saakashvili called on the ministers to do their utmost to exclude the possibility of spreading bird flu in the country.
