June 7 was declared a day of mourning in Georgia

The President of Georgia made an emergency statement and expressed deep sorrow regarding the death of Georgian soldiers as a result of a terrorist attack on a Georgian military base in the Helmand Province of Afghanistan.

By decision of the Head of State, June 7th  was declared a day of mourning in the entire territory of Georgia and national flags are lowered.
