Mikheil Saakashvili held meetings with European leaders in Warsaw

The President of Georgia met with the President of the European Council – Herman Van Rompuy within the scope of the Eastern Partnership Summit in Warsaw.

Mikheil Saakashvili also had bilateral meetings with the leaders of Sweden, Hungary, Malta, Belgium and Finland. The bilateral relations between Georgia and the above-mentioned countries as well as an approximation of Georgia with regards to the European Union were the main topics of discussion during the meetings. The European leaders emphasized the fact that strengthening ties between Georgia and the EU is very important to Georgia as well as to the EU Member States.

 Additionally, the Georgian leader gave interviews to several representatives of the media.
