Today President Mikheil Saakashvili met wit his Ukraine counterpart Victor Yushchenko in Vilnius. At the meeting the two presidents discussed the existing political situation in Georgia and Ukraine and further strengthening of the bilateral cooperation and trade and economic partnership. The presidents also discussed energy, regional policy and security issues.
President Saakashvili got interested in the creation of a parliamentary coalition and the formation of the government in Ukraine. According to Victor Yushchenko, in June, Ukraine will have a new government.
At the meeting President Saakashvili confirmed that in May he will participate in the GUAM Summit in Kyiv.
