President Saakashvili leaves for Poland


Today President Mikheil Saakashvili left for Poland to participate in the events marking August 1980 events and the 25the anniversary of the Polish Solidarity movement.

On August 31 an international conference dedicated to the anniversary of the Solidarity movement will be held in GdaƄsk. The former US Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright, the President of Ukraine, Victor Yushchenko, the former President of Poland and the founder of the Solidarity movement, Lech Walesa, and the former President of the Czech Republic, Vaclav Havel, will participate in the conference.
